Help Independent Agencies Turn Technology Strategy Into Action
Independent insurance agencies are facing more technology decisions than ever before. The challenge is not finding technology. It is knowing what to use, what to ignore, and how to make it all work together.
That is where Catalyit comes in.
We support a nationwide network of more than 15,000 independent insurance agencies, helping them make smarter technology decisions through assessments, strategic consulting, education, and practical guidance.
We are looking for a Senior Agency Technology Advisor to serve as a trusted consultant to agency owners and leadership teams across the country.
This is not a help desk role. You will lead consulting engagements that help agencies diagnose operational challenges, improve technology and workflows, and turn strategy into action.
Your success will be measured by the progress and results you help each agency achieve.
What Consulting at Catalyit Looks Like
Every agency is different. Your job is to ask the right questions, uncover the real problem, and help leadership determine the best path forward.
One engagement may involve helping an agency get more value from its management system. Another may focus on eliminating inefficient workflows, preparing for an AMS migration, developing an AI strategy, improving technology adoption, or creating a multiyear technology roadmap.
You will balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, leading conversations, evaluating solutions, building alignment, and guiding agencies through the changes required to move forward.
Our consultants do not simply deliver recommendations. They help agencies make meaningful progress.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a trusted consultant to agency owners, executives, and leadership teams
- Lead consulting engagements from initial discovery through strategy, implementation, and follow-up
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand each agency’s goals, operational challenges, technology environment, and priorities, identifying root causes rather than symptoms
- Review Agency Tech Assessment results and translate findings into clear, actionable technology roadmaps
- Evaluate technology stacks, workflows, processes, integrations, and technology adoption
- Develop practical recommendations and prioritized action plans aligned with each agency’s goals, resources, budget, and ability to execute
- Facilitate leadership workshops and strategic planning sessions that build alignment, accountability, and momentum
- Guide agencies through technology optimization, selection, implementation, and change management, helping them get more value from existing technology before adding new solutions
- Identify practical AI and automation opportunities and help agencies move from experimentation to adoption
- Advise on agency management system optimization, implementations, and migrations
- Manage approximately 10 to 15 active agency relationships, taking ownership of the strategy, experience, progress, and outcomes for each
- Track engagement milestones, progress, and recommendations
- Identify opportunities for additional consulting support as agency needs evolve
- Capture recurring challenges and insights that can strengthen Catalyit’s consulting services, education, and resources
- Represent Catalyit as a thought leader through keynotes, panels, podcasts, webinars, and industry events

- Demonstrated experience leading consulting, technology, or operational improvement engagements
- Strong discovery, consulting, facilitation, presentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to identify root problems and develop practical recommendations
- Ability to translate complex technology issues into clear business guidance and build alignment among agency leaders and stakeholders
